Finding Your Unique Organizing Talents

When someone is looking for a Professional Organizer, how do they decide who to choose? It can be hard when all the Professional Organizing businesses look the same to the prospective client.

This is why it is important to distinguish yourself from the crowd. Think about what your strong points are. Everyone has different and unique talents. The trick is to realize what those talents are, and then emphasize them so that you stand out from the other Professional Organizers out there.

Sometimes we are so used to what we are doing that we don't know what makes us unique. Sometimes we need others' help to see these things. You could try asking your friends what they think your unique talents are. Or ask your existing clients what they like best about your Professional Organizing service. Maybe you can devise a short survey of a few questions to have your clients fill out at the end of a job.

Once you have decided what your unique strengths are, think about how you can make those become known. Possibly you can rewrite your brochure or other advertising materials to emphasize these qualities. Or make up a short tagline to add to your business cards.

Maybe after some thought, you will decide that rather than be just a general Professional Organizer, you will want to specialize in a certain area or focus on a certain type of client. Then you can start devising ways to find this type of client. Gear your marketing efforts to this specialty.

Any way you can do it, distinguishing your Professional Organizer business from the "average" will be to your advantage. People will start to associate you with your unique talents and more business will come your way.
