Website for the Professional Organizer

How important is a website for your Professional Organizer business?

You might not think that a website is very important, because what you do does not have much to do with technology. But in fact, a website is very important for any Professional Organizer. Here are some of the reasons why.

  1. A website makes your business look more professional. Nowadays, all kinds of businesses have a website, so if you don't, clients will wonder just how professional you are.

  2. Help clients to find you. A lot of times, clients will not know where to find a Professional Organizer. Many of them will do a web search of ?Professional Organizer? plus the name of their town. Others will look in directories of Professional Organizers on the web. If you have a website, you will be able to be found a lot easier.

  3. Give clients information about your business. Often, when I am thinking of hiring someone to perform a service, I will check out their website to see what kind of services they offer, how to get in touch with them, what kind of professional organizations they belong to, and in general how I feel about that business after reading what I can find on their website. I'm sure a lot of your clients will do this too.

  4. Use your website as a sales tool. Prospective clients will not always have a lot of time to chat on the phone. You can use your website to list the benefits of hiring a Professional Organizer, advantages your company has over others, and so on. Then you can just refer prospects to your website for more information.

  5. Your website can establish your credentials as an expert. If you have some good organizing tips, articles you have written about organizing, and other materials on your website, people will see you as someone who is knowledgeable about Professional Organizing.

You don't have to have a fancy site with lots of complicated graphics and features. Just a simple site containing some of these ideas will go a long way in helping you market your Professional Organizer business.
